Before You Begin
Before using MatchEstate, make sure you have:
- A Google Account.
- Access to Google Sheets.
- A Google Gemini API Key.
- A property portfolio prepared in Google Sheets.
Step 1 – Install MatchEstate
Install MatchEstate from Google Workspace Marketplace. After installation, open Google Sheets and launch MatchEstate from the Extensions menu.
Step 2 – Authorize Google Access
Sign in with your Google Account and approve the requested Google Workspace permissions. MatchEstate requests only the minimum permissions required for its functionality.
Step 3 – Configure Gemini AI
Enter your personal Google Gemini API Key during the initial setup. Your API key is stored securely using Google Apps Script User Properties and is used only to communicate with Google's Gemini API.
Step 4 – Start AI Property Matching
Once the setup is complete, you can begin using MatchEstate. Open your property portfolio in Google Sheets, enter customer requirements, and let Google Gemini AI analyze compatibility between customer preferences and available properties. MatchEstate will generate ranked recommendations together with AI-assisted explanations and reports.
Troubleshooting
If MatchEstate is not working as expected, please check the following:
- Your Google Account is authorized.
- Your Google Gemini API Key is valid.
- You have granted the required Google Workspace permissions.
- Your internet connection is available.
- Your Google Sheets file is accessible.
